Overview
What it is.
The AutoPod is a remote-controlled, programmable telescopic elevation unit made by Polecam. It can carry a PTZ camera, a gyro head, or a prompter, and raises it smoothly on cue from a compact base. Two units stack to roughly double the height and still keep a low profile. Ours go out with the required technicians, here in LA and on the road.

Use cases
What it's for
Low, hidden rises
The low profile tucks into a set or an audience where a full towercam or an operator would be in the way.
Award shows & live TV
Smooth, repeatable PTZ vertical moves that stay out of sight of the room and the other cameras.
Tight spaces
A compact base gets a moving camera into spots a larger tower can't reach, like an orchestra pit or the edge of a stage.
