Overview

What it is.

The Stanton Triangle is a non-stabilized remote pan-tilt head made by Stanton, the company behind the Jimmy Jib. Stanton heads go back to the start of the company: the first remote head we ran was a Stanton Jimmy Jib head. We hang the Triangle overhead, stand it on a floor mount, or run it on our jib arms, and every one goes out with the required technicians.

FAQ

Common questions.

Is the Stanton Triangle stabilized?

No. It's a pan-tilt head without active stabilization. When a move needs stabilizing, we run an ARRI SRH-360 or a FoMa Antares instead.

Who makes it?

Stanton, the company behind the Jimmy Jib. We bought the first Jimmy Jib from Jim Stanton at NAB in 1987.

Does it come with an operator?

Yes. Every head goes out with the required Fluid Pictures technicians.
