Our Furio Robotic DollyRobotic railcam rental

Our robotic camera dolly on track, driven live by our operator for super-smooth moves on straight, curved, inverted, and under-stage rail. We were the first to hang a robotic dolly inverted and the first to run one on curved track.

Overview
What it is.
The Furio is a robotic railcam: a remote-controlled camera dolly, built by Ross Video, that runs on track. Ours isn't programmed. One of our operators drives every move live, and the ride is super smooth. We run ours on straight, curved, inverted, and under-stage track, and it goes out with the required technicians.

Track
Four ways to lay the track
The dolly is one machine. What changes from show to show is the track under it.
Straight
The standard run. Track lays along the floor, and our operator drives the dolly live, through rehearsal and the show.
Curved
We were the first to run a robotic dolly on curved track, so the move can follow the sweep of a stage instead of being forced into a straight line.
Inverted
The first to hang a robotic dolly in the air upside down. It opens angles from above that a dolly on the floor cannot reach, and it clears the deck entirely.
Under-stage
Our Blade Riser System runs the dolly on track beneath the deck, with a machined riser passing up through a thin slot. Almost nothing sits above the stage surface.

Award shows & live TV
The rooms where a move has to be smooth on the live take. We have run robotic track on shows including American Idol and America's Got Talent.
Our most-used robotic dolly
The Furio has been our most-used robotic dolly over the years, on show after show.
Where a crane won't fit
Track goes where a jib arm and its footprint cannot: tight against scenery, above the deck, or hidden underneath it.

FAQ
Common questions.
What is a robotic railcam?
A robotic railcam is a remote-controlled camera dolly that runs on track. Ours is driven live by our operator, for super-smooth moves.
Are the moves programmed?
No. Our Furio isn't programmed. An operator drives each move live, and it rides super smooth.
Can a robotic railcam run on curved track?
Yes. We run curved track, along with straight, inverted, and under-stage.
Can a railcam run under the stage?
Yes. Our Blade Riser System lets a railcam ride on track beneath the stage, slicing through a thin slot with almost no footprint above.
Which railcam systems do you rent?
The Furio dolly, built by Ross Video.

Where does the track need to go?
Send the stage plan and the move you want. We'll work out how the track lays: straight, curved, inverted, or under the deck.
